COOS HISTORY MUSEUM & MARITIME COLLECTION DONOR NAMING OPPORTUNITIES

as of October 15, 2014

The new Coos History Museum will open on the Coos Bay waterfront alongside Oregon’s spectacular coast highway in the winter of 2014-2015!  The new facility will be a hub for public and private events, and an engine for economic development. With the new Center, we will be able to better preserve our history and tell the South Coast story.  But there is much more to do. We must finish and furnish the inside of the building, create exhibits, and establish an endowment to operate the facility for decades to come.

Please consider a financial donation to help bring this important mission to life.  The following pages describe a number of ways that the Coos County Historical Society will honor donors of all levels.  Contact our Executive Director, Frank Smoot, at fsmoot@cooshistory.org or 541-756-6320 to have a conversation and help negotiate that process.

All contributions or pledges must be received by December 1, 2014 in order to be recognized on our Founders Donor Board. The historical society is a tax deductible 501(c)(3) non-profit [tax ID # 93-0446513].

Thank you for helping to create this wonderful center for our Coos County residents and community guests!
