Equal Justice Initiative Historical Marker for Alonzo Tucker

Witness: The Coos History Museum and Alonzo Tucker Task Force will be unveiling the Historical Marker for Alonzo Tucker as part of the second phase of the EJI’s Community Remembrance Project and the Oregon Remembrance Project. The marker is being placed at the front of the Coos History Museum for all to access.

The public is welcome to join us at the Coos History museum at 10:00 AM to witness the unveiling. All visitors are expected to follow CDC and Oregon State Covid-19 guidelines so that we can continue to keep each other safe. The unveiling will also be livestreamed at 10:00 AM via Zoom or the Oregon Remembrance Project’s Facebook page for those who who are unable to attend or would prefer to view the event online.
