
The September 5th First Tuesday Talk will take place from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in person at the museum in the Sprague Gallery. Seating is limited to 75 participants. Doors to the museum will open from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM for visitors to view the exhibits and visit the museum store if desired.

A former science writer for Washington Sea Grant in Seattle, David George Gordon is the principal author of Heaven on the Half Shell: The Story of the Oyster in the Pacific Northwest, revised and updated by University of Washington Press. He has written 22 books on topics ranging from slugs and snails to cockroaches, sharks, gray whales and the Sasquatch. As author of The Eat-A-Bug Cookbook, he has appeared on The Late, Late Show with James Corden, Late Night With Conan O’Brien and The View.
