Saturday, February 19th the Coos History Museum will be opening a brand new exhibit in our mezzanine gallery on the second flor of the museum called Healing Hands.

As a reminder, the museum is open Tuesday – Saturday from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. The exhibit is available to all with museum admission and will be open through the end of the year.

We invite our community to come explore the history of medicine in Coos County. This exhibit will feature a large sampling of the various establishments, people, tools, and continuing indigenous traditional medicinal practices that contributed to the health of Southern Oregon Coast communities since the 1800s.
