Thursday, October 8th at 6:00 PM, the Unlimited Book Club will be meeting over Zoom. This book club is a joint venture of the Coos History Museum, Coos Bay Library, and North Bend Library. The book for this month, selected by the organizers, is When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir by Patrisse Khan-Cullors and Asha Bandele.
This book club was formed: To encourage awareness and foster community discussions on equity, diversity, and inclusion through reading and thoughtful conversation.
The club will meet every second Thursday at 6:00 PM. The meetings will be an opportunity for members to discuss the month’s book as well as vote on book titles for future meetings and connect with fellow community members.
Registration is free. Those interested but uncertain if this club is what they are looking for are still invited to attend as there is no obligation to stay. To join, please go to https://tinyurl.com/y63w4r35. After signing up, participants will be sent the link for the Zoom meeting.
