First Tuesday Talks

The First Tuesday Talks Lecture Series brings speakers, historians, authors, and community members to the Coos History Museum to explore the people, places, and stories of Oregon’s South Coast.

Talks are held at 6 p.m. on the first Tuesday of most months. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Captain Steven Woods shares captivating sea stories and historic photographs from the Coos Bay Bar, one of the Pacific Northwest’s most challenging waterways.

Discover the history of the Coos Bay Pilots and hear firsthand accounts from a veteran pilot with decades of experience.

Nonmembers: $7 for Adults, $3 for Youth
